Church
The church could be described as
God's place of worshipping and serving Him together. We believe church is a demonstration that God is love and that He is all about people
reconciling with God and each other. We view church as a place where you can grow to become a mature believer with a supportive network of other believers. It is the community of followers of Jesus, in Whom was shown God's glory, wisdom and power.
And not the least important: through church you manage how to stay a faithful Christian!
If you visit The Hague church of Christ
Visiting a new church can be a daring experience. If you come to our meetings on Sunday however, you will meet an openhearted group of people. We start with a Bible study where we learn
and discuss topics from God's Word. During our worship service we pray, sing, partake of the Lord's Supper, and listen to a sermon.
Two things you may notice: we don't have an organ or band and we have a communion meal of unleavened bread and wine (grapejuice) each Sunday. After our worship service we have coffee or tea and we all like the time to talk, chat and get to know each other better.
Invitation
Being a Christian is of course much more than just worshipping God on Sunday. Whichever way you arrange your worship service in detail, living your life with Christ
and daring to share it is what matters very much. We invite you to to follow the Lord and worship and serve Him with us. We may not have all the answers but we can pray with you and ask God to provide what you need. We hope to be able to meet you some time soon as well!
